Docked Space Shuttle and Station Cross the Sun

A French photographer has captured a stunning photo of the space shuttle Endeavour docked with theInternational Space Station crossing the face of the sun.

You couldn’t just aim your digital camera at the sky and get results like this. Thierry Legault, who is known for his amazing astronomical imagery, uses specialized solar filters to capture the images.

“I first discovered I could draw when I was in high school.  More than likely, it was the best discovery I’ve ever made about myself, and for the past six years I’ve been doing it non-stop.  I am 22 now and living in the beautiful city of Seattle, which is nice because we value art and coffee very highly here (and I love them both equally).  Most of my time is occupied by work, art, eating yummy food, and seeing really great bands (and some not so great ones).I suppose I do illustration more than anything else these days.  I like to think I have a distinct style that makes my work unique.  My medium of choice is pen and ink.  I love the risk involved with using pen—if you mess up, you have to fix the problem or throw it out completely.  I use a lot of hatching in my drawings which gives them a very stylized look. Many of my pieces are train-of-thought and require almost no preparation.  I will draw anything you put in front of me AND make it look cool to boot!”Here are some of my sites: https://www.facebook.com/larspat http://society6.com/larspat http://www.tumblr.com/justcallmecaptain

It’s me as a O.G.Bee (get it?) and my friend Jason as Ron Swanson (from ‘Parks and Rec’).
Halloween is fun.
What were you?

Adderall

How have I never taken this until now?!

New art tonight, probably.

Blackbirds.

It’s hard to be creative when you aren’t miserable.

It’s time to start a new project.

I’m thinking something collage-y mixed with illustration.

All that’s missing is a theme.

Any ideas?  Hit me up.
